We are entering an age of statistically significant comparative exoplanetology due to a strong foundation laid by Hubble and Spitzer and the upcoming launches of JWST, ARIEL, and other missions. However, how does one cull the >10,000 planets that will be discovered by TESS for atmospheric characterization? I will discuss how we have developed an observational strategy to select targets for reconnaissance observations and high-precision broad-wavelength spectral characterization. In addition, I will present simulations that will predict the capability of future missions to survey exoplanetary atmospheres, with the ultimate goal of finding life.
